DTS Software announced what it says is the first IBM mainframe application for the iPhone.

The iPhone application, DTS SCC, is available on the Apple iTunes App Store and is free. It does require host software from DTS Software to communicate with the iPhone app over a TCP/IP connection. The iPhone user can issue any MVS Console command, as well as look at DASD pools, catalogs and data set attributes. Users can define additional MVS commands and DASD reporting functions. Security is provided thru a SAF interface so the iPhone user could not do anything that they would not be allowed to do thru TSO.
