Posted May 7, 2009 - May 7, 2009 Issue Print Version     Page 1of 1

Dataupia Corporation's Dataupia Satori Server now supports Oracle Database 11g, including Linux and Solaris operating system platforms.

The Dataupia Satori Server data management system is an all-in-one solution-server, storage and optimization software packaged as a data warehouse appliance. The Dataupia Satori Server is designed to deliver persistent access to as much data as an organization needs, while allowing for massively parallel processing for complex joins, data exploration, point queries, interactive reporting functionality, and continuous and seamless scalability.

"Simply stated, Dataupia enables Oracle to scale to hundreds of terabytes with low administrative overhead and no changes to existing applications," Samantha Stone, vice president of marketing, tells 5 Minute Briefing.  "As customer adoption of 11g grows, Dataupia is dedicated to supporting our customers.  The way we see it, our customers get the best of both worlds - the maturity and richness of Oracle coupled with the performance and low TCO associated with an appliance."
