The recent debacle with the McAfee update file - which wiped out the system files of countless PCs - is a lesson in the dangers of releasing code into production before being thoroughly tested. McAfee states that the issue was quality assurance. As enterprises and systems become more interdependent, testing and QA becomes more critical.
