Paul Hampton

Paul Hampton is Sr. Director of Product Marketing at Alfresco. He has over 25 years of experience in the Enterprise Content Management industry. Paul joined Alfresco in 2009 and over the past 6 years has been responsible for all Product Marketing activities at Alfresco. Along with a deep understanding of the ECM market, areas of expertise include records management, business process management, cloud computing, open source and enterprise deployment.  Paul has also held senior positions at a number of companies, including Documentum, Ariba and SDL.

During the early 1990s, Paul was the third person to join Documentum within the UK, helping to launch the company in Europe. He was instrumental in designing and developing content management solutions to target specific industry verticals and led solution design to support the financial markets.  More recently Paul has worked at SDL as Product Marketing Director, being responsible for all global enterprise marketing activities and managing all aspects of PR. Paul has also worked for Ariba, where he managed all marketing activities for Northern Europe and product management for EMEA during his six-year tenure.
