The Industry’s Best Support Policy Just Got Better

We're listening. Based upon customer requests, Oracle has agreed to a two-year extension of Extended Support for Database 9.2 for the following platforms: Sun Solaris64 SPARC, Linux32, AIX32, HP-PA RISC, HP Tru64 and Windows3. The extended service will only include support for Severity 1 issues and will not include any new Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) or Patch Set Updates (PSUs).

This extension will be available from August 2010 through July 2012.

Now you have more time to optimize your existing infrastructure and can choose when to upgrade your database to Oracle future releases when the time is right for your business.

This announcement is in addition to Oracle's announcement at COLLABORATE 09 regarding Database 10gR2. Premier Support ends for Database 10gR2 in July of 2010; Oracle has waived the first year of Extended Support fee for the period August 2010 to July 2011.
