Catch Live Streaming Keynotes from LinuxCon North America


The Linux Foundation will provide live video streaming of the keynote sessions from LinuxCon North America + CloudOpen North America. The event, which offers education and collaboration for everyone in the ecosystem, takes place at the Sheraton Chicago, Wednesday, August 20, to Friday, August 22.  To register for access to the streaming keynotes, go here.

Keynote speakers include: 

  • Jim Zemlin, Executive Director, The Linux Foundation, who will give a keynote on the “State of Linux” on Wednesday, August 20, at 9 am Central Time 
  • Linux Creator Linus Torvalds, who will participate in a Linux Kernel Panel discussion on Wednesday, August 20, at 9:30 am Central Time
  • Solomon Hykes, Founder of Docker, who will give a keynote on “Containers: Changing the Landscape” on Thursday, August 21, at 9:20 am Central Time
  • Douglas Balog, General Manager, Power Systems, IBM Systems and Technology Group, who will present a keynote titled “Revolutionize the Way IT is Created and Consumed” on Friday, August 22, at 9:40 am Central Time

IBM, a Platinum Sponsor of LinuxCon, will present a range of sessions – including a just-added breakout sesson on Thursday, August 21, at 2:30 pm Central Time, titled"Open Innovation with IBM and The OpenPower Foundation's Coherent Accelerator Processor Interface"  presented by Brian Zoric & JT Kellington, IBM.
