Kore Technologies Makes Commitment to Higher Education

Kore Technologies will be presenting at a number of higher education technology conferences this year as a part its commitment to higher education initiative.

The solutions to problems that higher ed tech professionals are seeking are ones that Kore has solved for other industries, said Keith Lambert, Kore Technologies’ vice president of marketing and business development. “Yes, the software applications are different but nonetheless it’s the same root issue. We can work with applications like Colleague, Banner, and PeopleSoft to build a Microsoft SQL data warehouse to improve business intelligence and visualization. Our experience with Colleague gives us the ability to create a pre-defined Microsoft SQL Server Operational Data Store (ODS) when used with Kourier Integrator for faster data warehousing and visualization.”

Kore’s capabilities are able to expand beyond the company’s primary reach in manufacturing and distribution to other industries, noted Anita Mackie, marketing assistant at Kore.  “We have clients in the Ellucian Colleague vertical so we are familiar with the higher education technology market.”

Kore has decided to attend conferences in the higher education market to learn more about these clients’ needs and the applications they are currently using, and to also help educate them about what it is possible to do with their data, said Mackie.

Conferences Kore will attend this year include:

  • Southern Regional Datatel User Group (SRDUG) in June
  • EDUCAUSE 2014 in September
  • Chief Information Systems Officers Association (CISOA) in February
