ClearStory’s Data Intelligence solutions improves access to private data sources including structured and semi-structured data sources, files, and big data platforms, through automated Data Inference and Profiling that understands characteristics of the data such as source, size and type. In addition, according to the company the solution’s point-and-click access to external data, including premium and public sources, supports insights and enables new data discovery. External data is made accessible via an integrated marketplace called "Data You May Likeso it can be viewed in context with private data.

“One of the interesting things about this product is that there is so much technical depth to it,” said Stephanie McReynolds, vice president of marketing, ClearStory Data. Customers have been attracted to a number of innovations that they see in the ClearStory Data solution. “We have made it easy for someone with a non-technical skill set to gain access to data, interact with that data and make an informed decision and collaborate with their peers, “ explained McReynolds.
