Kore Technologies is excited to announce the release of Kourier REST Gateway along with the upcoming release of Kourier 4.3. Both are scheduled for release early 2nd quarter of 2016. As companies grow they must extend and modernize their operations to support the business. Typically, they will integrate third party niche products to supplement core MV applications. Keith Lambert, VP, marketing and business development with Kore Technologies believes, “The approach to integrations is changing from batch file export/import to real-time queries and updates using RESTful Web Services.”
Kourier REST Gateway will be a separate product that will be able to work with Kourier Integrator. A primary feature of the REST Gateway is to provide secure, real-time access to MV applications from outside the firewall using APIs that are built using Kourier’s RESTful Web Services. The Gateway also allows users to define Gateway Policies that enable them to throttle the requests in order to limit the maximum number of requests per minute/hour/day for example (called the Rating) for each Gateway User. “The users that are exposing their system to the outside world want to make sure that they don’t have an application that goes rogue and starts consuming all their resources,” explained Mark Dobransky, co-founder and managing partner with Kore Technologies. The Kourier REST Gateway is one of the key features that will be coming with version 4.3 of Kourier Integrator. More information will follow in the coming months.
