Melissa Data, a provider of contact data quality and integration solutions, has announced the opening of its new office located in central London. By opening the new London office, Melissa Data hopes to further the company’s support of international data quality markets.

Former CEO of a leading web service company World Address, Barley Laing is set to take charge of Melissa Data’s U.K. business as the team’s managing director of U.K. operations. “Barley Laing has heaps of experience, he has held a lot of different executive management positions, and we are thrilled to have him on the team,” said Greg Brown, vice president of marketing, Melissa Data.

Melissa Data is building on almost 30 years as a global data quality provider and this international expansion is fundamental to the company’s continuous growth strategy and will enable local sales and support for global clients. “Not only have we expanded our product set but we have also expanded our presence and our reach globally to help companies that are struggling with these types of issues - not only in the U.S. - but in Canada, the U.K. now, as well as Germany and India,” explained Brown.

Brown also noted that Melissa Data is looking to provide more in-country support by having satellite offices in countries that are strategically appropriate for them. “We see an increasing need with the global economy for accurate location and address verification services,” Brown said.
