Wharfedale Technologies Inc. (WFT Cloud), a technology consulting firm specializing in infrastructure integrations and services for SAP solutions, has introduced a new offering to help companies migrate their implementations of the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse application to the SAP HANA platform in a private cloud managed by WFT Cloud. With SAP NetWeaver BW powered by SAP HANA, WFT Cloud says, companies can achieve accelerated data loading, query runtimes, and planning functions and also benefit from simplified data modeling and remodeling.
The service by WFT Cloud includes an upgrade at no additional charge of the customer’s existing implementation of SAP NetWeaver BW to version 7.3, as well as the design, build and migration of the customer’s existing BW landscape to run on SAP HANA in the cloud. The company says the bundled solution is applicable with a 3-year contract and will be available on a virtual private cloud within WFT Cloud or an on-premise private cloud platform.
According to WFT Cloud, reliable migrations of SAP NetWeaver BW on an RDBMS to run on SAP HANA can be accomplished with minimal downtime, and can be streamlined using automation tools such as SAP NetWeaver Landscape Virtualization Management software.
WFT Cloud’s HyperCare offering leverages WFT’s expertise in supporting SAP solutions as well as instances of SAP HANA, includes backup and recovery, and provides a direct connection to the SAP support infrastructure.
