OAUG Announces Sessions for Oracle OpenWorld 2014

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has announced its schedule of hosted meetings and educational sessions scheduled for the upcoming Oracle OpenWorld 2014 conference, Sept. 28 – Oct. 2, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

OAUG members will deliver educational sessions exploring common challenges and solutions relating to Oracle Applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite implementation best practices, integrations and upgrades, Oracle EPM Administrator, Oracle HCM, Oracle Data Warehousing, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and  OAUG president Alyssa Johnson will co-present a session titled, “Acquisition Migration from SAP and an Oracle E-Business Suite 12 Upgrade” on Monday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. PT in Moscone West 2020.

This year, the OAUG is facilitating an interactive discussion onsite and online as a key part of the OAUG’s emphasis to connect users. Throughout the conference, members are encouraged to visit either the OAUG kiosk in the Users Group Pavilion in Moscone South, or Booth 3131 in Moscone West to post questions and receive answers on an interactive discussion board. Participation is also available through the OAUG online discussion forum.

More than 60 OAUG geographic (Geo) and special interest group (SIG) meetings are to be held in Moscone Center West on Sunday, Sept. 28, during the Oracle Users Forum. The forum offers attendees networking and learning opportunities with Oracle customers who use similar Oracle Applications.  “The OAUG aims to provide meaningful networking opportunities while enhancing the educational atmosphere at Oracle OpenWorld 2014,” said Johnson. “Our focus is to facilitate the discussion of users’ experience and knowledge of Oracle Applications to enable members to gain the most from their Oracle investment.”
