OAUG Hosts Educational Sessions at Oracle OpenWorld 2010


The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has announced a number of new offerings at Oracle OpenWorld 10 starting Sunday, Sept. 19. The Quick Start Session: Realizing the Value with SOA at 12:30 p.m. focuses on how to quickly orchestrate and build process automation. Also beginning at 12:30 p.m., Data Management Best Practices for Your Oracle Applications: Performance, Governance and Innovation uncovers how today's leading organizations have employed Integrated Data Management strategies to manage their Oracle application data across its lifecycle. At 2 p.m., Planning for Oracle E-Business Suite 12 discusses what it takes to successfully roll out the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12. Also on Sunday, the OAUG Fusion Council hosts a panel discussion and question-and-answer session related to developments surrounding Oracle Fusion Applications from 3-5 p.m. in Room 3016. Presenters and panel participants include OAUG Fusion Council co-chairs Michael Rulf and Miles Thomas, Oracle ACE director Floyd Teter, and Oracle ACEs John Stouffer and Elke Phelps.

In addition, the OAUG hosts more than 50 peer-led special interest group (SIG) and geographic (Geo) meetings on Sunday to offer additional educational opportunities and new product enhancements. And, throughout the week, more than 30 OAUG-hosted presentations will feature experienced Oracle consultants and customers offering advanced professional development on topical issues that cater to a wide variety of users.
