Oracle Elevates HP’s Partner Status


HP has been named an Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Diamond level partner, which is the highest ranking available in the OPN Specialized program.  In making the announcement, Oracle said HP has demonstrated expertise in Oracle products and offerings, and dedication to leveraging Oracle technologies to provide business value to joint customers around the world.

Currently, says Oracle, HP offers more than 1,000 Oracle specialists and has demonstrated deep knowledge of Oracle solutions with Specializations in a broad range of Oracle technologies.

“As a Diamond level partner, HP has demonstrated its knowledge of Oracle technologies and its ability to offer that expertise to joint customers worldwide,” said Andy Bailey, Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances, Oracle.  “With a broad set of product Specializations, our end-to-end services for Oracle products, an expanded portfolio of customer experience services and vertical industry solutions, we are even better positioned to drive business results for our customers,” said Robert Hildenbrand, Vice President, Worldwide Oracle Applications Services, HP

The relationship between Oracle and HP runs deep. HP and Oracle have a decades-long partnership; HP is a major user of Oracle software; and Mark Hurd, who joined Oracle as president in September 2010, was previously CEO of HP.
