SDS Partners with McAfee to Provide Support and Development for the E-Business Server Product Suite

Software Diversified Services (SDS) is partnering with McAfee to provide support, maintenance, new enhancements, and compliance upgrades for McAfee’s E-Business Server, a comprehensive suite of products using industry-standard encryption to automatically protect corporate data within applications, email, file transfers, and transaction processing. As part of the agreement to take over support and development of E-Business Server, SDS says it will assume full and ongoing responsibility for all current and future customer support functions. SDS will also deliver a series of customer-requested upgrades and enhancements, and ensure that E-Business Server meets or exceeds all relevant compliance and security requirements.

“With 30 years of experience delivering award-winning mainframe software and service to a Global 500 client base, we’re looking forward to taking E-Business Server to the next level,” said Jim Lampi, vice president of SDS. “E-Business Server is a strategic addition to our enterprise product line, which already includes a range of monitoring, security, and backup solutions.”

Improvements that SDS says it will bring to the E-Business Server product suite include 24 by 7 support,  a support team with specialized expertise in security solutions, a state-of-the-art IBM z/Series platform to improve delivery of updates and enhancements for mainframe users, and an ongoing commitment to ensuring E-Business Server meets all compliance and security standards.

As part of the partnership agreement, all current E-Business Service maintenance agreement contracts will be honored, with a seamless transition to the new support and maintenance package. In addition, E-Business customers will have an opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions for future product improvements.

“McAfee is pleased to have a partner in SDS that will serve the needs of our customers for the e-business product,” said Candace Worley, senior vice president and general manager of Endpoint Security at McAfee.  “SDS has a proven track record and the expertise required to evolve the e-business product and provide ongoing value for e-business customers.”
