SHARE President’s Corner: Direct from SHARE in Denver

Summer may be almost over - but summer's never complete for the SHARE community until we gather for our summer event.

I'm excited about all the new things we are offering during the week. Perhaps the most obvious of these is our four, main-tent sessions where we're giving our attendees the opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders what they view as the important issues in our field.

I'm also excited about the program content available this week. As usual, there is breadth of coverage that addresses the full range of technologies that occur in the enterprise IT ecosystem. We've also modernized our program focus to ensure continuing relevance to practicing IT professionals as our industry changes, particularly in the areas of Enterprise Data Center, Information Management, Application Architecture Development and Integration, and Communications Infrastructure.

Watch the President's Corner all week for thoughts from guest contributors. Today, we have a letter from Tom Rosamilia, IBM's new General Manager of System z, who is a long-time friend of SHARE but was unable to join us here in Denver.
