AmberPoint, an SOA management systems vendor, announced new advancements to its platform for monitoring and managing business transactions across interconnected enterprise applications. AmberPoint's Business Transaction Management (BTM) solution introduces a concept the vendor calls a "Business Transaction Safety Net," which includes active transaction recording, a transaction search engine, and transaction logging and auditing capabilities.

BMC Software announced enhancements to BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) Suite and the BMC Atrium technology platform, two key components of its Business Service Management platform. Tighter integration among the primary technologies of BMC's BSM platform makes it easier for organizations to discover, visualize, prioritize and orchestrate IT services, the vendor says.

iTKO, a provider of testing and validation solutions for SOA-enabled distributed enterprise applications, has introduced a new release of its flagship LISA product suite, which includes enhanced virtualization support. The new features in version 4.6 of LISA are targeted at helping customers who are experiencing greater pressure to deliver software faster, and with fewer resources and lower costs while also maintaining quality levels, the vendor says.
