AES, a provider of IT performance management solutions, has announced a new toolset designed to help manage new virtualization initiatives from mainframe systems. CleverView for cTrace Analysis v6.0 is designed to enable IT professionals to view trace captures for LPAR data, from a single z/OS system, going through the Open Systems Adapter (OSA) interface with decoding and expert analysis.

GT Software, a provider of mainframe integration solutions, today announced the release of Ivory Service Architect 4.1, incorporating new features designed to reduce mainframe workloads and improve SOA performance. Ivory's architecture now fully exploits all three IBM System z mainframe specialty engines.

dynaTrace software, a provider of continuous application performance management for Java and .NET applications, announced the launch of a portal and community-based site for the posting and exchange of performance management information. The dynaTrace Community Portal will provide updates, best practices, product tips and techniques, training materials and re-useable software modules for dynaTrace users.

Imperva, a provider of application data security, has announced a solution that provides monitoring, auditing, and protection for DB2 databases running on z/OS mainframes. SecureSphere Database Gateway for z/OS (DGZ) monitors local and network activity by privileged users, non-privileged users, and applications to prevent data loss, fraud, and automate regulatory compliance reporting.

NewEra Software has announced the general availability of Release 3.0 of its z/OS hardware configuration management software, called IODF Explorer. NewEra Software will demonstrate the IODF Explorer in Booth 319 at the SHARE Technology Exchange during SHARE in Austin this week.
