Actian, a data management, analytics and integration company, has introduced new multi-platform editions of the Actian Zen Embedded database solution family designed to address the demanding scale-down and scale-out requirements of data-centric IoT solutions.

Anaplan, a provider of a platform for connected planning, has launched Anaplan Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), a data encryption solution. Anaplan BYOK allows customers to self-manage keys, which enables them to encrypt and decrypt workspaces and have sole access to their data on the Anaplan platform.

Cloudian, a provider of enterprise object storage systems, is releasing HyperStore 7, bridging both on-premises and cloud environments. This update allows users to manage data in both private and public clouds around the globe as a single, unified storage pool. 

Dremio has closed $25 million in a Series B funding round led by new investor Norwest Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and Redpoint Ventures.

Eastwind Networks, provider of a cybersecurity solutions and breach analytics cloud platform, has introduced Eastwind for SaaS, an addition to Eastwind's product line that provides visibility for companies using online services, such as G Suite, Office 365, Dropbox, Box and Salesforce.

TrustArc, a data privacy management company, has announced the TrustArc Individual Rights Manager, a solution to help companies address data subject access rights requests in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
