CA has announced a new release of its ERwin Data Modeling Suite, with updated data modeling capabilities, integrated data profiling, and new reporting features. The CA ERwin Data Modeling Suite is an integrated tool for a complete model-based approach to the analysis, design, and construction of high quality database and data warehouse applications. The capabilities and pricing of the new release allow data architects at midmarket-to-global 2000 companies to reduce time, cost, and complexity in providing timely, accurate information to the business.

Information Builders, an independent software vendor that provides operational business intelligence solutions, has announced a partnership with OnApproach, an independent systems integrator, to provide business intelligence and reporting capabilities to companies with less than $100 million in annual revenues. Through this partnership, OnApproach will provide the Information Builders WebFOCUS BI platform as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering to these smaller companies.

Netrics, an independent software vendor that develops data matching software, has announced that it has partnered with Contegra Systems, a web portal design services and systems integration firm. Through this partnership, Contegra will use the Netrics Matching Platform to expand its ability to build profitable web properties for enterprises whose businesses depend on accurate information delivery.

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, has elected Raymond Payne as the 2009 president of the OAUG and the OAUG executive committee for 2009. Payne is employed as a principal systems architect with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and has been a member of the OAUG since 1992. He is a frequent presenter and publisher on topics of interest to the Oracle community, and has more than 20 years of experience using Oracle databases, development tools, and application suites.

Sybase has added two new dates in Texas for its PowerBuilder Accelerated Development Tour.
