Helping to address complex analysis problems, IBM has announced the general availability of IBM Graph, a Bluemix service that allows users to set up graph databases in the cloud. Previously offered in beta earlier this year, the availability was made public in an IBM developerWorks blog by Adrian Warman, documentation lead for IBM UK Application Platform Services, on behalf of the IBM graph team.

Oracle announced today that it is acquiring NetSuite in a transaction valued at approximately $9.3 billion. The transaction is expected to close in 2016. In a statement, Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite, said that NetSuite will benefit from Oracle's global scale and reach to accelerate the availability of its cloud solutions.

Riverbed Technology, which provides solutions for application performance, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aternity, a provider of end user experience and application performance monitoring solutions that monitors more than 1.7 million mobile, virtual and desktop workforce endpoints.
