Cockroach Labs, the company behind CockroachDB, is partnering with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Oracle Cloud, Digital Ocean, and Openshift to enable customers to deploy hybrid/multi-cloud databases that take advantage of the industry-leading advances in consistency, scalability, resilience and data locality delivered by CockroachDB.
OwnBackup, a backup and recovery vendor, is closing a $23.25 million Series C round of financing that will be used to meet escalating market demand for the company's solutions. This round is being co-led by Insight Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures. Existing investors Innovation Endeavors, Oryzn Capital and Salesforce Ventures also participated in the round.
