RedPoint Global, a provider of data management and customer engagement technology, has made updates to the RedPoint Convergent Marketing Platform to solve what it describes as a customer engagement gap facing marketers today. The new version of the platform is aimed at helping marketers become more effective in coordinated cross-channel campaigns, including those integrating Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Trifacta is releasing an enhanced version of its namesake platform, further boosting its data wrangling capabilities and bolstering the solution for more data sources and diverse users. The v4 release extends the ability of users to directly connect to a variety of enterprise data sources, including Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Teradata, and expands support for customers deploying Trifacta in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
