IBM is launching new SAP-certified bare metal servers for SAP HANA platform deployments in the IBM Cloud and new configurations for VMware environments that will give enterprises the power and performance they need to manage their mission-critical applications running on SAP HANA. IBM's newest cloud infrastructure for SAP HANA solutions on the IBM Cloud is designed to provide clients with larger and more powerful infrastructure to run memory-intensive applications running on SAP HANA.

Information Builders, a provider of business intelligence (BI) and analytics, data integrity, and integration solutions, has announced that its iWay Universal Adapter Suite has achieved SAP-certified integration with the SAP NetWeaver technology platform. The certification is a reflection of the iWay Adapter Suite's interoperability and ability to integrate data residing within SAP solutions.

SAP is connecting SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning and SAP RealSpend to provide managers with real-time visibility into financial forecasts of headcount plans. Working together, SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning and SAP RealSpend enable managers to access financial data in real-time for their operational headcount planning needs.

SAP is updating its cloud platform to unlock and drive more business agility and business digital transformation, according to Dan Lahl, SAP's vice president of product marketing. "If you think about where cloud platform exists in the SAP portfolio I would use two analogies: either we're the plumbing and electricity that makes the house go or we could be viewed as the glue that holds the house together," Lahl said.
