Noetix Corp., a provider of business intelligence (BI) software and services for enterprise applications, recently introduced its newest operational reporting solution for Oracle E-Business Suite, NoetixViews 6.0. This latest release provides new global views for Oracle Financials, U.S. Federal Financials, Supply Chain, Discrete Manufacturing, Projects, and Enterprise Asset Management, joining the previously released global views for Oracle's Human Resource Management System (HRMS) applications.

In a presentation to analysts, customers, and the press at the Guggenheim Museum in New York last week, Oracle president Charles Phillips unveiled Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g which is intended to help customers maximize business agility and productivity by providing an integrated approach to IT management.

Oracle has announced two new products intended to enable companies to run Oracle WebLogic-based applications within virtualized environments. The first product, Oracle WebLogic Suite Virtualization Option, brings together Oracle WebLogic Server with Oracle's JRockit Virtual Edition. This release is optimized for virtualized environments and able to deliver higher application performance and increased hardware utilization.

Oracle Applications Unlimited first debuted in 2006 and has become a trusted strategy for customers because of Oracle's major investments in all application product lines and the focus to drive new features and easier updates based on customer input. For example, the latest version of the Oracle E-Business Suite was designed to help organizations make better decisions and be more competitive by providing a global or holistic view of their operations.

RMAN (Recovery Manager), a backup and recovery tools is one of the fine products from Oracle. They have added few notable new features as a part of Oracle 11gR1/R2 which make this product more robust. Some of these new features are extensions of earlier ones and a few are introduced as net new.
