IBM's U2 group has released wIntegrate 6.1. IBM wIntegrate is a terminal emulation and host-based application enhancement tool for IBM UniData, UniVerse (U2), and other MultiValue databases. The release provides enhanced recovery capabilities by allowing telnet sessions to reconnect; increases performance and usability of the Java Thin Client; allows message passing between the Java Thin Client and external applications; and supports additional customization capabilities.

Upcoming releases from IBM's U2 product family include U2.NET on May 27, and SB/XA on June 30, Susie Siegesmund, director, U2 Data Servers & Tools, IBM Data Management, told DBTA. For more information about U2 data servers and tools, go here.
