Edee L. Edwards received her Master of Science in Library Service at Columbia University and has spent her career in and on the fringes of science, technology, and biomedical libraries.  From reference work to electronic resources purchasing to web project management, she spent 10 years with taxonomy in her job title.  After being in the Information Technology world for about half of her career, she joined the NFPA Research Library & Archives in November 2015 and has been evolving from creating taxonomies to building ontology models, driven by data and the need to tie together unstructured and structured resources.
