Your Guide to a Successful Proof of Concept

A proof of concept (PoC) is a framework of tests to determine if a product will function as you envision, and if it will truly provide long-term value that merits an investment in technology and resources. These tests should not attempt to build an entire solution; they’re what confirm or deny that the entire solution should be implemented. A PoC is an implementation on a micro scale, that can demonstrate that the larger project can be done. The proof of concept should take minimal time and if it works, it creates a starting point for the development project as a whole.
