How many times have we heard the phrase “We’ll pivot when we have to”? Bank failures, layoffs, coronations, new AIs like ChatGPT that seem to be an answer to everything…yeah, there’s a lot of uncertainty and change in the air. The world is changing fast, and here at Revelation, we are pivoting even faster.
Our users experienced a bit of change this year as well: OpenInsight version 9 reached its end of life. Initially released in January of 2009, OI9 has successfully supported us, our customers, and their customers and users for over 14 years. It has done its job well. But it’s time to pivot and expand to the next level.
Our focus this year has been on the development of our latest OpenInsight 10 versions and getting ready to help our customers upgrade to these latest versions. We’ve created an upgrade process that is easy and trouble free. We want to reduce customers’ anxiety and the FUD factor: we won’t want any Fear, Uncertainty, or Doubt. We want our customers and vendors to know that we are there to help them and support them and help future-proof their systems.
Finances have gotten tighter for everyone, us included, and we are being as flexible as we can afford to be. Whether offering longer terms on existing contracts or extended expiration dates until they can get a better footing under them, we are showing that we believe in them.
