Embarcadero Reaffirms Commitment to International Sybase User Group by Signing on as an ISUG Gold Partner

The International Sybase User Group has signed a new partner agreement with San Francisco-based Embarcadero Technologies, Inc. The two firms are already collaborating on a number of fronts, including an ISUG membership survey which will be announced at TechWave 2010, increased involvement in ISUG chapters around the globe, a Visual SQL Tuning webcast, as well as additional technical publications aimed at the thousands of Sybase ASE customers already enjoying Embarcadero's database management and database performance management solutions.

"Since the majority of our customers have heterogeneous environments, we work closely with passionate technical users that represent every major database platform. For example, Embarcadero uses feedback from the Sybase technical community to continually prioritize Sybase-specific capabilities and future product enhancements," states Jan Liband, vice president of marketing of Embarcadero.

Founded in 1993, Embarcadero has been the trusted tooling provider to thousands of Sybase ASE customers. In fact, in a recent survey of ISUG members, Embarcadero's software tools were shown to have the largest installed base of any tools vendor. "Embarcadero has been a favorite tooling vendor among Sybase ASE customers for nearly two decades and we appreciate their continued support and involvement in our community," notes Mike Harrold, executive director for ISUG. "This is a great opportunity for both organizations to provide more value-add for ISUG members, and you'll see some exciting programs happening in the months ahead."
