ISUG Board of Directors Election to Take Place November 30-December 18


The International Sybase User Group has announced that the election of the ISUG Board of Directors for 2010-2011 will take place between November 30 and December 18, 2009. All nominations for election must be submitted before November 9, 2009.

Nominees must be ISUG Regular Members in good standing and have the support of their employer/organization to run, including the time commitment to participate in board meetings and conference calls. Requirements are included in the position description document noted below.

There are 12 positions open for election this year. These include:

  • President
  • Vice President of Business Relations
  • Vice President of Finance
  • Vice President of Membership
  • Asia Pacific Regional User Group Director
  • European Regional User Group Director
  • North American Regional User Group Director
  • South/Latin American Regional User Group Director
  • Benefits Director
  • Communications Director
  • Enhancements Director

• Partner Director

All positions are for 2-year terms. Position descriptions are available here.

There are additional restrictions for the four executive committee positions (President and three Vice Presidents). Nominees must be current members of the Board of Directors and have completed one full term prior to January 1, 2010. Nominees for President must also be a current member of the Executive Committee.

You may nominate yourself or other ISUG members. However, be sure that the nominee meets all of the requirements for the position before submitting a nomination for someone other than yourself.
