This year’s OpenSUSE conference will take place at the Czech Technical University in Prague. The campus is located in the district Dejvice and is next to an underground station that gets you directly to the historic city center. The conference will run from October 20 through October 23. Separately, the openSUSE project announced that openSUSE 12.2 Release Candidate 2 is now available for widespread testing, with a final release targeted for mid September. According to the openSUSE project team, since the previous release candidate, last minute fixes have been made, mostly in higher level packages as the basic stack has been stabilized and locked. openSUSE 12.2 Release Candidate 2 is available for download from software.opensuse.org/developer.
