A new IBM Cloud Computing Competence Center in Ehningen, Germany, will provide a broad range of cloud solutions and services to clients locally and internationally. The center will also provide clients access to IBM's emerging portfolio of standardized cloud services, including IBM Smart Business Desktop Cloud, which provides anytime, anywhere access to applications, information and resources, and delivers a secure, standards-based desktop environment behind a client's firewall; IBM Smart Business Desktop on the IBM Cloud, which delivers desktop virtualization in a hosted environment; and IBM Smart Business Development and Test on the IBM Cloud development which allows clients to expand internal development and test efforts with instant access to resources through IBM's secure, scalable cloud delivery model, software and image lifecycle management capabilities.
