SUSE is planning SUSECon, its first annual global conference for SUSE customers, partners, and community enthusiasts. The conference will be held from September 18 to 21 at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida. SUSECon will feature technical and business presentations, demonstrations, hands-on labs, advanced technical training, industry partner technology showcases, customer case studies, and keynotes from the brightest experts in the industry. The conference will also include sessions that will instruct attendees of all technical levels on enterprise computing, cloud computing and Linux management technologies.
Registration for SUSECon will open in April 2012. Content and activities will be announced throughout the year for the September 2012 event - which coincides with SUSE's 20th anniversary. "SUSE was built upon the premise of community and collaboration, and SUSECon will become the premier venue for sharing and networking amongst the passionate followers of this Linux platform. These first 20 years have been an incredible journey, and our success is attributed to those practitioners who appreciate the vision we have for next-generation, dynamic enterprise-class Linux," said Michael Miller, vice president of global alliances and marketing, SUSE.
