SUSE and IBM Present the Linux Days 2012 Tour

Join SUSE and IBM for a North American road show, Linux Days, in which SUSE technical experts present and demonstrate the latest open source technologies from SUSE that benefit a data center. IBM, a premier sponsor of this event, is also participating in the events, showcasing System z, System x and Power solutions.

SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 Service Pack 2 was recently released, enhancing not just the performance and reliability of SUSE Linux, but also marking a significant change to the way SUSE delivers innovation in enterprise Linux. By moving to a forward-looking development model, SUSE will look "forward" at the new features and functionality in upstream Linux kernels and introduce them more frequently through kernel updates into our enterprise code stream, using more "forward" porting of code, rather than just back porting of patches.

The Linux Days 2012 Tour is wrapping up but there is still time to catch it. The tour is in Chicago, IL, on June 20; in Denver, CO, on June 27; and in Philadelphia, PA, on June 27.

The tour has already been to Toronto, ON; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Irvine, CA; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Washington, DC; Minneapolis, MN; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; and Detroit, MI.
