$51M for Spacelift Supercharges Complex Infrastructure Management and Automation

Spacelift, a leading infrastructure orchestration platform, is announcing the completion of its Series C funding round, having raised $51 million. The funding round—which was led by Five Elms Capital with participation from Endeavor Catalyst and Inovo VC—will accelerate product innovation and adoption for Spacelift’s AI-powered infrastructure management automation solution.

Spacelift targets the growing complexities of managing modern infrastructure, which is often spread across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. Spacelift “orchestrates infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and governance to increase platform team efficiency, accelerate developer velocity, and control costs,” according to the company’s messaging, all while maintaining stringent compliance and holistic visibility at scale.

“As infrastructure complexity grows exponentially, enterprises are seeking more intuitive and intelligent ways to manage their technology environments,” said Pawel Hytry, CEO and co-founder of Spacelift. “This funding propels our vision forward, empowering organizations to effortlessly articulate and realize infrastructure goals through AI-powered automation. The platform delivers compliance, control, and rapid scalability, fundamentally redefining the enterprise infrastructure management experience.”

A multitude of companies across a diverse range of industries—including financial services, software, healthcare, and government—are utilizing Spacelift, such as Redfin, Checkout, Moody’s, Duolingo, and Sailpoint.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Spacelift team,” said Joe Onofrio, partner at Five Elms Capital. “Their innovative approach sets a new standard for infrastructure automation, making it accessible, understandable, and powerful. With a strategic focus on bridging human intent and infrastructure outcomes through AI, Spacelift is uniquely positioned to succeed in this rapidly evolving market.”

Spacelift’s recent infusion of capital also highlights its leadership in the open source community, playing a foundational role in OpenTofu. OpenTofu, the reliable, flexible, community-driven Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool, serves as a drop-in replacement for Terraform, preserving existing workflows and configurations. The open source tool maintains over 600 contributors, 10 million-plus downloads, an average of 350,000-plus downloads per week, and large-scale enterprise adoption from companies including Oracle, Cisco, and Fidelity Investments.
