As part of multi-year strategic initiative with Oracle, Accenture has created a set of solutions incorporating Oracle Engineered Systems into its data center transformation consulting and outsourcing services.
Accenture has formed a team of over 300 consultants who combine their experience with proprietary and field-tested methodologies and tools to help simplify solution implementation, increase productivity and improve the stability of data centers. The Accenture team will be supported by Oracle Enterprise Architects and dedicated Oracle Engineered Systems engineers, who will help deliver and support the solutions, accelerating time to value for clients and reducing deployment risk.
Oracle Engineered Systems, including Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Oracle SuperCluster and Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine, pre-integrate hardware and software to reduce the cost and complexity of IT infrastructures while increasing productivity and performance.
Accenture recently announced a Center of Excellence for Oracle Engineered Systems, which allows customers, before making a significant investment, to test their workloads on Oracle Engineered Systems to get a picture of how a similar setup can accelerate their enterprise applications and strengthen analytics capabilities for performance and business benefit. Additionally, the Accenture Foundation Platform for Oracle, which helps clients accelerate deployments on Oracle Fusion Middleware, has been established on Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud and Oracle Exadata Database Machine.
Accenture and Oracle are also investing in, working on and implementing industry-specific solutions that utilize Oracle Engineered Systems. For example, the Accenture Life Sciences Cloud helps clients analyze enormous amounts of clinical data to improve overall development and enhancements of pharmaceuticals, and the Accenture Public Service Platform is a private cloud solution that accelerates implementations of systems for health reform.
