Advanced (formerly Transoft, Inc.), a provider of data migration, consolidation and warehousing systems, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with BOS Software (BOS), a specialist developer of IBM mainframe integration solutions. Advanced will be providing its customers with tcVISION and tcACCESS from BOS, both of which are used by organizations to leverage the value of mainframe platforms and data.
tcVISION is a mainframe data replication and synchronization system and tcACCESS enables the real-time bi-directional exchange of information between IBM mainframes and Linux, Microsoft Windows and UNIX based systems.
The partnership brings together two companies with experience in helping organizations migrate critical, legacy applications and data from mainframes to modern platforms.
“BOS and Advanced share a commitment to helping organizations utilize data and applications that may well have been in place for many years and which are increasingly costly to maintain,” said Paul Holland, vice president of Advanced. “Our solutions reduce these costs and provide companies with a rapid return on investment by improving operational efficiencies and access to business critical data. By adding tcVISION and tcACCESS to our solutions portfolio, we can now provide legacy data and modernization solutions irrespective of which platform a client may be using.”
