Attunity Collaborates with Microsoft to Accelerate Adoption of SQL Server 2016

Attunity Ltd. is partnering with Microsoft Corp. to enable faster and easier adoption of Microsoft SQL Server 2016.

The partnership allows Microsoft to tap into Attunity Replicate’s data replication and change data capture technologies to achieve “zero-downtime migrations” from systems such as Oracle and others to SQL Server 2016.

“We’ve been a strategic partner for many years for Microsoft to facilitate the process of heterogeneous data movement between other platforms and Microsoft platforms,” said Itamar Ankorion, EVP of business development and corporate strategy at Attunity.  “The benefits of 2016 created a natural environment for us to collaborate.”

Attunity Replicate helps organizations ensure data integrity and configurable automation for migration of data to Microsoft platforms while reducing the time and effort required to manage, monitor, and integrate heterogeneous systems.

SQL Server 2016 features faster transactions and queries, advanced analytics, and new hybrid cloud scenarios.

Attunity will participate in joint marketing initiatives and activities, including participation in webinars and assisting Microsoft in identifying new customers, according to Ankorion.
