Attunity Extends its Platform to SAP

Attunity Ltd., a provider of Big Data management software solutions, is introducing a new platform for SAP, a data replication solution optimized to deliver SAP application data application data in real-time for Big Data analytics on premises or in the cloud.

“We’ve combined the best of two worlds,” said Kevin Petrie senior director and technology evangelist at Attunity. “We have a well established data replication product and what we’re announcing is that we are leveraging our SAP integration to enable people, for the first time, use Attunity Replicate to copy data from SAP environments into outside analytics platforms.”

Attunity Replicate for SAP transforms complex data structures into easily accessible data models across a wide variety of analytics platforms.

The solution moves SAP data in a real-time, secure, and scalable manner to empower customers to replicate data at the business and transaction level.

It works by automatically mapping data to the thousands of associated tables within the SAP application, providing a unified means for replicating SAP documents, transactions, and business data to a diverse ecosystem of analytic environments.

With Attunity Replicate for SAP, enterprises can gain easy external access to SAP application data, handling complex and custom data structures; integrate data in real-time with change data capture (CDC) technology; make SAP data available for cloud-based analytics; ingest SAP data into Hadoop Data Lakes; and support all core SAP business applications such as ERP, HR, CRM and industry-specific solutions.

Moving forward, Attunity will continue to broaden the types of platforms that it can help companies integrate with and enrich the data usage intelligence it provides that can help companies reduce costs, optimize performance, and enable compliance.

“SAP data typically resides within very specialized structures which are specific to SAP applications,” Petrie said “We provide that conversion that’s required in order to make the data available and usable in other platforms.”
