Backed by $21M, Ciroos Emboldens its Extensible, Multi-Agent SRE AI Companion

Ciroos, a pioneer in AI-powered operations, is announcing that it has raised $21 million in its latest funding round led by Energy Impact Partners LP (EIP). This investment will be utilized to fuel the company's go-to-market operations for its innovative AI SRE Teammate technology, an extensible, multi-domain and multi-agent AI “teammate” for easing operational burdens.

Ciroos’ SRE Teammate was born from the growing intricacies of modern enterprise applications, whose inherent complexities make it increasingly difficult to monitor, diagnose, and resolve potential incidents. Coupling this observational challenge is the fact that, with more AI technologies being introduced to the tech stack, greater developer productivity results in a larger operational load of SRE teams—who are already spread increasingly thin, according to Ciroos.

The SRE Teammate—underpinned by a multi-agent architecture with human expert-like reasoning—enables SRE teams to proactively initiate investigations into anomalies, correlating a sea of cross-domain interactions to identify what truly is, and isn’t, an issue. SRE Teammate easily integrates with third-party AI agents, existing observability tools, ticketing systems, collaboration software, and more, having been built on Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent 2 Agent (A2A) architectures.

“SREs carry a heavy burden—from middle-of-the-night incidents to hours of repetitive analysis and postmortems,” said Ronak Desai, co-founder and CEO of Ciroos. “We built our AI SRE Teammate to end that toil, fully embracing our mission to provide an AI SRE Teammate that empowers SREs to be superheroes. It achieves this by accelerating root cause identification, automating or augmenting actions, and ultimately giving them back the time, clarity, and control so they can do what they do best: build, safeguard, and evolve reliable systems at scale.”

With the SRE Teammate, SRE teams are empowered to take control of their large, complex enterprise environments through AI—while still maintaining control. SRE teams can select their desired level of augmentation and autonomous operations, ensuring a custom AI experience.

"Ciroos represents a transformative approach that delivers immediate and measurable impact,” said Shawn Cherian, partner at EIP. “The team's deep domain expertise—both on the ground working with the SREs and in leadership at global enterprises—and their vision to automate, augment, and drive autonomous operations make them uniquely qualified to address challenges in this emerging space."
