Blue Medora Creates New Solution with New Relic

Blue Medora, a provider of cloud and data center management solutions, is partnering with New Relic to develop a new application performance monitoring tool.

The new REST API-based, agentless plugins are aimed at improving enterprise IT operations’ visibility between Blue Medora and the other systems that companies monitor with New Relic. 

“Moving to New Relic, for Blue Medora, is following a trend we are seeing in the industry, there’s been a major push into the APM space but New Relic has been very focused on the application layer and that’s really it,” said Mike Kelly, CTO.

The new solution will offer users a complete view of their entire IT stack to identify and resolve application performance issues before they spread.

The jointly-engineered solution, Blue Medora True Visibility Suite for New Relic, allows users to gain a single view of product performance, increase uptime and track detailed metrics, regardless of where they reside, according to the vendors.

Benefits include dependency-aware dashboards that increase application availability by pinpointing problems faster and more accurately, two-click reporting that improves cross-team collaboration, and subviews that give native-tool level detail to uncover bandwidth issues that affect application performance.

Moving forward, Blue Medora will work closely with New Relic to develop this and expand all its offerings, along with building a platform that is designed to provide an entirely data-centric APM, according to Nathan Owen, CEO and co-founder of Blue Medora.
