Cofense, a leader in intelligence-driven phishing defense, is enhancing its portfolio, introducing Smart Reinforcement within its Security Awareness Training solution, and unveiling the latest release of Triage 1.30 within its Phishing Detection and Response (PDR) solution.
According to the company, these enhancements mark a major step forward in Cofense’s mission to deliver faster, smarter, and more automated phishing threat remediation and training.
Smart Reinforcement streamlines the delivery of security education, using AI-powered automation and adaptive learning to quickly target user vulnerabilities with personalized training.
Delivered through the Cofense Command Center, it combines intelligence, automation, and measurable outcomes to reduce phishing risk and drive lasting behavior change, Cofense said. Key capabilities include:
- AI-assisted training builder: This capability automatically delivers personalized reinforcement training based on user behavior and threat exposure.
- Scorable content for measurable learning: Delivers training that includes assessments to evaluate how users learn and retain knowledge. This enables organizations to measure learning effectiveness and quickly identify where education is most critical.
- Enhanced reporting and analytics: Provides deeper insights into user performance through metadata tagging and NIST CSF alignment. This enables targeted learning paths, identifies topics where users excel or struggle, and supports learner incentives for ongoing engagement.
Designed to streamline and accelerate phishing detection and response, Triage 1.30 combines AI-powered prediction, explainable insights, and automation to help organizations detect threats faster and with greater accuracy, according to Cofense.
Key capabilities include:
- AI-powered prediction with automated processing: Built on proprietary AI models, the Cofense Confidence Score automatically classifies messages across key phishing categories and assigns confidence scores to each threat. Analysts can set thresholds for automated quarantine, accelerating response and minimizing dwell time.
- Explainable AI for greater transparency: Provides clear, interpretable insights into how models make classification decisions, giving analysts the rationale behind each prediction.
- Improved search capability for faster quarantine: Enables targeted, automated searches based on specific criteria through the Triage API. Analysts can efficiently query Continuous Quarantine data, refine detection logic, and accelerate remediation with precision and control.
“With these new capabilities, we’re equipping security teams to identify and neutralize phishing threats faster and more accurately than ever before,” said Rachel Roldan, VP of product at Cofense. “We are directly addressing the growing speed and sophistication of phishing attacks that continue to evade traditional defenses. By combining AI-driven automation with frontline intelligence from over 35 million trained reporters, we’re not only accelerating threat response, we’re enabling organizations to build lasting resilience against the next wave of advanced email threats.”
