Comforte AG and Snowflake Launch Solution to Enhance Data Analytics with Privacy and Data Protection

comforte AG announced the launch of its Data Security Platform integration in partnership with Snowflake, the Data Cloud Company, to help customers securely move sensitive data to Snowflake’s single, integrated platform.

Comforte and Snowflake will work together to mobilize the world’s data with Snowflake’s Data Cloud, bringing unique data security technology and helping joint customers protect sensitive data.

“We look forward to seeing the data privacy and protection benefits our customers will be able to access through our new integration with comforte,” said Vikas Jain, senior alliance manager, technology partners at Snowflake. “As Snowflake continues to make strides to mobilize the world’s data, partners like comforte give our customers greater flexibility around how they enable secure analytics with data residing within the Snowflake ecosystem.”

Protection methods such as format-preserving encryption (FPE) or tokenization provide a strong level of protection while keeping the data usable for analytics initiatives, according to the vendors.

“We are thrilled to partner with Snowflake, one of the leading providers of analytics tools. The comforte Data Security Platform is specifically designed to help protect the sensitive data itself within cloud-based environments like Snowflake,” said Henning Horst, chief technology officer at comforte. “By helping organizations comply with data privacy regulations and minimize the exposure risk of a data breach, comforte can greatly enhance the security and utility of their data with Snowflake."
