Compuware Teams with Rosetta in the Name of e-Commerce Readiness

Compuware Corporation and Rosetta, part of the Publicis Groupe and a member of the Compuware Partner Network, announced a partnership designed to help customers ensure high performance with their e-commerce sites. The integrated offering offers pre-production testing and ongoing application performance management.

Rosetta will incorporate Compuware Application Performance Management (APM) solutions, including Compuware Gomez and dynaTrace, into its e-commerce, mobile platforms and systems integration solutions, adding end user performance and application monitoring.

"Application performance is becoming increasingly important to companies that are deploying e-commerce applications," Kimberly King, vice president of channels and alliances for Compuware Corporation, tells 5 Minute Briefing. This announcement marks an extension of Compuware's relationship with Rosetta, as well as enhancing service to companies with e-commerce operations. Compuware will continue to work with Rosetta "on targeting their market, understanding it with them, and then figuring out how we support them through their customer base in their go-to-market."

The Compuware Gomez APM platform is a solution for optimizing the performance of web, non-web, mobile, streaming and cloud applications. Gomez provides a unified view across the entire application delivery chain, from a user's browser or mobile device, across the internet or a corporate WAN, in the cloud, to inside the data center, eliminating potential blind spots.

"Traditionally, we have been monitoring only on the back end on the APM side of things," says Mike Brunst, associate partner for partnerships and alliances at Rosetta. "This transformation looks at both the front end with the Gomez product and then the back end with the dynaTrace product."

The new integrated offering has already been used by some of Rosetta's key customers, including hhgregg, a retailer of home appliances and consumer electronics, Brunst continues. The retailer used the solution during the holiday shopping season. "The results were fantastic. Keeping them up and running during the holiday season is critical and the product proved again that is why we have this relationship."

Rosetta is also a premier strategic partner of IBM, offering what it describes as one of the largest WebSphere Commerce implementation teams in the United States. Visit www.rosetta.com for more information.
