BackOffice Associates’ HiT Software division, a provider of data replication and change data capture (CDC) solutions for heterogeneous database environments, has released DBMoto version 8.2, with new support for real-time data replication and changed-data updates to SAP Sybase IQ analytics server database and Oracle Database 12c.
DBMoto version 8.2 helps businesses update real-time data from legacy or other corporate systems to the Sybase IQ system while utilizing Sybase’s Big Data analytics and data warehousing. DBMoto v8.2 also supports Oracle Database 12c, enabling heterogeneous data updates to a single, multitenant container database that can host many “pluggable” databases, saving time, effort and investment for Oracle users.
“Data is an organization’s key asset and DBMoto enables access to that asset quickly and easily,” said Rex Ahlstrom, chief strategy officer, BackOffice Associates. “Our ability to make business-ready data available to SAP data migration and information governance projects is greatly enhanced by DBMoto’s expanding support to many databases, analytics and cloud systems – wherever critical business data is located.”
DBMoto version 8.2 features include support for SAP Sybase IQ; support for Oracle Database 12c as a multitenant database with one or many pluggable databases; the ability to selectively set Initial Refresh on individual replications within a group; with a new Initialization Status in the Replication Monitor; expanded support for global scripting, including support for C# as well as VB.NET scripting with an enhanced text editor; and the ability to install DBMoto from an application or a script
