Dell Boomi Acquires Platform for Building Workflow Applications

Dell Boomi (Boomi), which provides a platform for application and data integration, has acquired ManyWho, a unified cloud and low-code development platform that helps simplify workflow automation and allows businesses and developers to translate business processes into software applications for connecting employees, customers, and systems.

ManyWho was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Boomi says it will to keep ManyWho’s employees and existing operations, and will continue to invest in additional engineering, channel, marketing, professional services, support and sales capability to grow this business. 

Adding the ManyWho low-code capabilities for workflow automation to Boomi’s integration platform will accelerate the ability to deliver workflow automation to customers on a unified platform, according to Boomi.

Both organizations were born in the cloud and are cloud-native, said Chris McNabb, CEO of Boomi, noting that the combination of Boomi and ManyWho brings enables integration together with cloud workflow automation to provide customers with a connected workflow which is critical to an efficient and differentiated business. With the addition of ManyWho, Boomi says its platform now provides customers with the enabling technology to address the challenges of hybrid IT, offering a solution where customers can move, manage, govern and automate data and processes in a unified way.
