Druva Provides Integration with Dell PowerProtect Data Domain to Boost Cyber Resilience

Druva, a leading provider of data security, is introducing a new integration with Dell PowerProtect Data Domain to enable enterprises to extend their Data Domain environments with SaaS-powered cyber resilience.

According to the companies, with this integration, organizations can combine fast local recovery through Data Domain with the simplicity, visibility, and cloud-scale protection of Druva’s fully managed, cloud-native platform.

With Druva, customers can continue using existing Data Domain systems in the data center and remote and branch offices (ROBO), while extending that foundation with a SaaS control plane for simplified management, flexible recovery, and stronger cyber resilience across hybrid environments.

Data is also automatically protected in the Druva Data Security Cloud, creating an isolated, immutable copy that supports faster investigation, response, and recovery.

“Dell PowerProtect Data Domain is a foundational pillar in enterprise data centers and plays a critical role in ensuring cyber resilience and fast recovery,” said Ranga Rajagopalan, chief products and marketing officer at Druva. “This integration helps customers build on that foundation with the scale of the cloud, giving them a modern approach to cyber resilience across hybrid environments.”

With Druva and Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, customers benefit from:

  • Fast and Flexible Recovery Options: Recover from Data Domain or the cloud to meet both recovery time objectives (RTO) and compliance requirements.
  • Cloud-Scale Cyber Resilience: Extend Data Domain environments with an air-gapped, immutable cloud copy in the Druva cloud for stronger data protection.
  • SaaS Simplicity: Manage protection and recovery through Druva’s fully-managed SaaS platform.

“Cyber resilience is strongest when it fits naturally into the ecosystems customers already trust and operate,” said Dan Fitzgibbons, global director of alliances at Druva. “This integration gives partners a powerful way to extend Dell PowerProtect Data Domain environments with cloud-delivered resilience, helping customers protect critical data more confidently and recover with greater assurance across hybrid environments.”

Druva’s integration with Dell PowerProtect Data Domain is in limited availability now and will be generally available this year.
