Elastic’s SCA with AWS Propels Accelerated Digital Transformation and Security Competency

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, is announcing a three-year global strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), propelling the Elastic Cloud toward greater success within the AWS ecosystem. Elastic has additionally acquired the AWS Security Competency designation, highlighting the company’s expertise on AWS datasets through the Elastic Cloud platform.

The announcement of Elastic and AWS’ SCA places heavy emphasis on accelerating customer’s digital transformation journeys via Elastic Cloud on AWS. Between accelerating integrated go-to-market activities, technology integrations and commercial incentives, and global expansion of best cloud migration practices, the companies’ SCA streamlines and optimizes Elastic Cloud access and transformation for enterprises operating within the AWS ecosystem.

“Elastic has been a trusted AWS partner, and we’re thrilled to continue strengthening our established relationship and shared commitment to delivering a seamless user experience for Elastic Cloud on AWS,” said Chris Grusz, managing director of technology partnerships at AWS. “This collaboration further supports our shared customers’ global cloud adoption journey with easier access to Elastic Cloud on AWS and helps accelerate their digital transformation initiatives as they rely on Elastic and AWS to become more data-driven in the cloud.”

Beyond the SCA, Elastic’s achievement of the AWS Security Competency designation verifies the enterprise’s ability to enhance the way customers collect, analyze, secure, and scale data across AWS datasets, according to the vendors. This designation upholds the Elastic platform as a competent solution for not only digital transformation but also as a tool for developing, adopting, and deploying intricate security workloads on AWS.

“Together with AWS, Elastic is committed to helping companies drive innovation, leverage cloud-optimized features, streamline data collection from AWS services, and modernize and migrate their existing environments,” said Ken Exner, chief product officer at Elastic. “As we continue to accelerate our cloud-first business strategy, the growth of our strategic collaboration agreement with AWS is crucial to helping our joint customers solve complex data challenges.”
