After the successful launch of Informer 2025.1, Entrinsik is gearing up to roll out 2025.2 soon.
Driven by customer feedback, the new updates promise to “[deliver] foundational upgrades and time-saving features that elevate everyday workflows and pave the way for even smarter, more scalable innovation,” Madhavi Chandra, chief product officer, wrote in the latest Entrinsik news post.
The upcoming updates highlight the modernization of Informer’s core server architecture. By using Node.js, Hapi, and Highcharts, Informer is now providing faster performance across the board.
“Whether you're navigating Dashboards, querying Datasets, or interacting with AI Assistants, Informer now responds faster and scales more efficiently under load. This modernization not only enhances your current experience; it also lays the groundwork for our next generation of enterprise-scale capabilities,” Chandra explained.
Informer Libraries now support Google Drive, alongside existing integrations such as OneDrive, Box, and GitHub. Now, users can sync entire folders from Google Drive, making their content instantly searchable, reportable, and available to Informer.
The AI Assistant can now summarize, analyze, or compare documents stored in Drive, unlocking intelligence from files that were once siloed or difficult to manage.
For teams working across systems, this creates a single pane of glass for accessing operational content and driving decisions faster.
Informer has long supported automated Jobs that refresh Datasets and send exports via email or SFTP. With 2025.2, users can now configure Jobs to upload directly to Google Drive or OneDrive, including through Informer Libraries.
According to the company, this frees teams from repetitive tasks, improving transparency, and ensuring stakeholders have instant access to the latest Reports within the platforms already integrated into their daily operations.
Also added is a new capability called Template Input Presets, giving Member Plus Users the ability to customize and lock input parameters without opening the full editor.
Admins can ensure that Users run Reports with the right parameters—every time—while protecting sensitive filters or inputs from being modified or even seen.
“The Informer 2025.2 release reflects our ongoing investment in performance, automation, and intelligent access. And there’s more coming—features that push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI, cloud collaboration, and governed analytics,” Chandra said.
